We chose a PTZ camera for its ability to pan, tilt and zoom. This means that it can rotate 360 degrees, as well as zoom in using a motorised zoom lens. Our client can control the camera from their smart phone, using an on screen joystick and zoom slider from within the Hikvision Hik-Connect app.

When the PTZ camera is not being manually controlled, it returns to a patrol pattern that we programmed, to scan the large area around the front of the house. The corner mount bracket allows it to view a wide 270 degree sweep around the front of the house.
