Hikvision video intercom install with gate automation in Rugby

Our client for this video intercom installation with gate control in Rugby was referred to us by their friend, who had a similar intercom system fitted in Coventry. The gates were quite some distance from the house, so our client wanted an easy way to view, speak to and allow access for any arriving visitors.

We started by installing the exterior unit, just outside the front gates and then wiring it into the motor for the electric gates. This allowed the unit to open the gates and allow access to any visitors.

The second half of the intercom was the 7 inch touch screen, which was installed in the kitchen for quick and easy access. Both parts were linked to the internet, allowing our client to recieve notifications on their smartphone and remotely control the electric gates if required.
