Hikvision video intercom with electric gate control in Coventry

We were contacted by the building contractor for this home renovation project in Coventry, when they were looking to install a video intercom to automate their electric gate.

We had already installed an IP based CCTV system for them earlier in the year, which consisted of numerous 4K turret cameras, along with a corner mounted PTZ dome. Opting for a Hikvision video intercom system, meant they were able to consolidate their gate control and CCTV requirements into one app, which made life simpler for the home owner.

The gate intercom calls both a Hikvision touchscreen, which is mounted in the hallway, in addition to the smart phone app on home owner’s mobile. This allows them to open their gate remotely, to allow access to any tradesmen or other visitors.
